At Blue Steele Solutions, we’re a little quirky, but we like it that way—amazing websites and astounding logos don’t get made by boring people.

Start With Why
Website Virtuoso, WordPress Physicist, and Marketer Extraordinaire
Heather’s been converting coffee to code since 1997—now she makes the code output cash for her customers.
After almost a decade of marketing in a corporate setting, she tired of being a corporate cog and decided to go it alone, bootstrapping a business based on one simple principle:
Armed with an Apple computer and head full of marketing knowhow, she built Blue Steele Solutions to help small businesses market themselves and grow in ways they didn’t think possible. But that doesn’t mean she has to leave her coding, design, or writing days behind—when she isn’t building out CRMs or getting her hands dirty in a new Genesis theme, you might find her writing a blog post about management or watching reruns of The Office.
When she’s not moderating questions on WordPress Facebook groups, Heather hangs out at Disney World, kills old flash applications, and builds functions when she’s bored.

CSS Conductor and WordPress Lineman
Lots of people speak second languages—Frank’s just happens to be CSS
Trained in marketing at the University of North Texas, Frank learned quickly that he was much more at home commanding widgets and directing posts than dealing with humans (just kidding—he does all our training!)
Now that he’s a seasoned front-end developer, Frank is our go-to trainer, showing clients how to navigate both WordPress and Genesis with ease. When he’s not dreaming in CSS and HTML, This captain of the pixel seas spends some of his free time relaxing in San Antonio with family and friends or just floating down the Guadalupe River, beer in hand.
He’s also what you might call a Champion of Animals—as an animal welfare activist and friend of dogs, Frank, his dog Roxy, and his turtle Fluffy spend a great deal of time fighting for the rights of animals everywhere.
Follow him on Twitter @ for CSS tips, animal rights info, and hilarious gifs.
And if you have a hunger for all things WordPress, Genesis, or web design, read his blog posts.

Content Weaver and Social Media Herder
Adam might be a little crazy, but we love him anyway.
Word-crafter, bibliophile, content sorcerer—whatever you want to call him, he sure does spend a lot of time immersed in the world of the English language.
And thank the content gods he does! Weaving beautiful paragraph-baskets into blog posts ain’t easy, but we couldn’t think of a better job for a recovering tech writer and social media fiend.
When he’s not herding frightened social media profiles during a hashtag storm, Adam reads everything he can get his hands on (and yes, video games count as reading!) He also teaches others to write content that doesn’t suck, surfs on rollercoasters at Six Flags, systematically destroys wave after wave of aliens, catches Pokemon for resale on the deep web, and escapes to the mountains whenever he can.
If he’s not behind a computer screen somewhere, he’s probably trying his damnedest to climb the highest mountain he can find—we hope he finally makes it to the top one of these days.
Sometimes (all the time) he writes about content marketing, writing, and social media on our blog here.

In another universe, Cassie should have probably been an anime character.
Instead, she’ll have to settle with being a kickass graphic designer.
Sculpting unicorns, pixie dust, and dreams into gorgeous websites is just a small part of Cassie’s brush set—when she’s not busy designing our new website (yeah, the whole thing!), she creates gorgeous print pieces, astounding blog images, and incredible mockups.
She’s kind of a freakin’ design magician.
She’s also probably the most interesting person on the team—in her free time, she goes to anime conventions, hangs out at amusement parks, cosplays her favorite characters, and takes part in giant, real life chess games—yeah, as in she’s one of the chess pieces.
